🍬 What are CANDY Awards?

These are not your average end-of-year certificates. I designed these to go beyond just grades—because let’s be honest, our students bring SO much more to the classroom than test scores. Whether they’re team players, always curious, hilariously funny, or kind to every single person they meet, there’s a candy-themed certificate to match!

With 30 different award options, every student will feel seen and celebrated in a way that’s fun, meaningful, and oh-so-sweet.

🎨 Options for Every Teaching Style

I know how wild May and June can be in the classroom, so I created multiple versions to make printing and prepping as stress-free as possible:

  • Bright & Colorful for that wow-factor display
  • Pop of Color if you want a splash without using too much ink
  • Black & White versions to save ink (just print on colored paper and you’re golden!)

Your awards can be as vibrant or as low-maintenance as you need—flexibility is key!

💬 Real Talk: Students LOVE These

Year after year, my students look forward to these awards. They giggle at their candy match, share them proudly with their families, and sometimes even keep them all summer. ☀️ The playful tone and personal touch make them something special.

And let’s be honest… watching your students light up when they realize you really see them? That’s the sweetest gift of all.

🛒 Ready to Celebrate?

You can grab the full set of CANDY Awards on my TpT store here! 🎁 It’s an easy, fun, and memorable way to end the year on a high note.

Bonus: If you have a fun candy idea I haven’t included yet—send it my way! I’m always up for adding more sweetness to the set.

Let’s finish the year with joy, laughter, and sugar (the paper kind 😉). Happy almost-summer, teacher friends! You’ve earned it!

Hi! My name is Katie Friedl and I have taught Kindergarten & Gifted 1st grade in Chicago for 16 years. It is not always easy, but its worth it! I will be writing about by tips and tribulations about teaching in Chicago. Stay tuned to be inspired (hopefully... crossing my fingers) and probably even get a little giggle... at my expense I'm sure!
